Research Methodology
Our recommendations are only as trustworthy as the data behind them. This page explains where that data comes from and how we keep it accurate.
Data sources
Product identity, images, and pricing come from official retailer data. Specifications are drawn from manufacturer documentation and live product listings. Each figure in our databases is stored with the date it was confirmed.
Handling uncertainty
When sources disagree or a spec cannot be confirmed, we mark the field as unverified rather than choose a number. Prices and availability change constantly, so we direct readers to the live listing for the current price rather than freezing a figure that will go stale.
Updates
Databases and buying advice are revisited as products change, new models launch, and our own testing expands. Significant changes are reflected in the "updated" date on each page.
